November 2010 saw the transfer of Keith Valentine from our Pietermaritzburg office to our office in Cape Town. Although a loss to his friends and team members in KwaZulu-Natal, Keith’s move was a welcome addition to those in Cape Town, who will no doubt benefit substantially from Keith’s wealth of knowledge and passion for birds and wildlife. Keith and his wife Cath have settled well in the Mother City, and are thoroughly enjoying the incredible natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere of their new home. Further exciting news on the Valentine home-front is that Cath is expecting their first child towards the latter part of the year.
On that note, we are very proud to announce the latest addition to our ever-expanding Rockjumper family. On 31st January 2011, Cuan and Lisa Rush welcomed their second child, a gorgeous baby girl, Erin Vivian Rush, into the world. She weighed 3.7 kg at birth and was a little over 50cm in length. Cullan, their first born and already 2 years old, has graciously accepted the new arrival and is proving to be a very gentle and loving big brother!
We would like to bid Matthew Drew, Clive Wyatt and Jeff Trollip farewell as Rockjumper team members. They have all contributed tremendously to Rockjumper and worked with passion and zeal – their company and good humour will be missed in the office. We wish them all the very best in their future endeavours.
