Ricardo Matus

Ricardo Matus is a naturalist born and raised in Chile, on the shores of the Straits of Magellan. Ricardo participates in research and conservation projects locally in the southern extreme of Patagonia. Most recently, his work has focused on the breeding biology and conservation of the Ruddy-headed Goose, as well as the wintering ecology and banding of Red Knots at Bahia Lomas, Tierra del Fuego. He has been guiding in Patagonia for over 25 years.
