Overview

The 12-day Spitsbergen Explorer: Wildlife Capital of the Arctic expedition gives you great chances to connect with unique arctic wildlife. The archipelago is home to the iconic Polar Bear, as well as several whales, Walrus, Svalbard Reindeer and tens of thousands of seabirds. Exploring the tundra is a breath-taking experience - the natural beauty of the landscape is exhilarating, surprisingly colourful and so striking.

If there is such a thing as a “classic Arctic” expedition cruise, this is it. You’ll get all the best of Spitsbergen, by exploring the western edge of the island and venturing to some northern outlying areas for Polar Bears and Walrus. You’ll come across colonies of seabirds numbering into the thousands and search for several whales and seals. Packed with options for snowshoeing and sea-kayaking, this is the perfect expedition for exploring the “wildlife capital of the Arctic". The Arctic has been inspiring explorers for centuries, and our expeditions offer the chance for you to discover why. We’re excited to host you on your unforgettable adventure!

Please note: these prices are subject to foreign exchange fluctuations. Rockjumper have taken an allotment on this cruise rather than chartering the cruise in its entirety.
