3. Provide your details

You will need to include:

  • your personal details

  • any special requirements (dietary, medical, etc.)

4. Pay the deposit

  • A deposit secures your place on the tour
  • Once payment is made, you accept the tour terms and conditions

5. Receive your booking confirmation

  • We will send you an official Booking Confirmation email
  • At this point, your place is fully confirmed, and the contract is in place

  • flight guidance
  • packing and preparation advice

Simple summary

“Choose your tour, submit a booking form, pay your deposit, and receive confirmation, then you’re all set.”

If a tour you’re interested in is already full, don’t worry, there are still a few options available to you.

1. Join the waiting list

  • We can place you on a waitlist for that tour
  • If someone cancels, you’ll be contacted and offered the spot

2. Look at alternative dates

  • Many tours run multiple departures
  • Another date may still have availability

3. Consider similar tours

  • We can recommend comparable destinations or itineraries to nearby destinations where the birding opportunities and habitat might be similar

4. Private / tailor-made option

If you are absolutely set on visiting that destination:

  • We can arrange a tailor-made tour
  • This gives you full flexibility on timing and pace

Reassurance

  • We’ll always try to find a workable solution for you
  • Being on a waitlist or choosing an alternative tour often works out very well

Simple summary

“If a tour is full, you can join the waitlist, choose another date, or explore similar or tailor-made options.”

If you need to leave a tour early, it’s certainly possible, but there are a few important things to understand.

Leaving early

  • You’re free to leave the tour at any point
  • Your tour leader will assist with basic logistics (e.g. getting you to an airport or arranging a transfer where feasible)

Costs and refunds

  • No refund is provided for any unused portion of the tour
  • This includes accommodation, meals, transport, and activities you miss

Additional expenses

  • Any extra costs related to leaving early would be at your own expense. The include:
    • flight changes
    • additional transport
    • accommodation outside the itinerary

Insurance is very important as it may cover:

  • trip interruption
  • emergency return travel
  • medical situations

Reassurance

  • Our leaders and office will do their best to support you and make arrangements as smooth as possible
  • Situations like this are uncommon, but we are experienced in handling them

Simple summary

“You can leave early if needed, but unused tour services aren’t refunded, and any extra costs are your responsibility, so good travel insurance is essential.”

  • Changes cannot be made once you have paid your tour invoice is full
  • It does not cover pre-existing conditions
