Antarctica competition winner announced!!

The draw for the competition took place on the Rockjumper stand at the British Bird Watching Fair, and was filmed by Birdfair TV and observed by several eager entrants! Every person who entered was given a unique number and the winning numbers were randomly drawn out of containers. The winning sequence of 4 numbers belonged to Christopher Frowde of Penryn, Cornwall, UK and he was phoned right away and informed that he was the lucky winner. Christopher wrote: “I am still in absolute shock after your phone call on Sunday, I couldn’t believe it was true. Antarctica must be one of the most amazing destinations in the world to see, really the trip of a lifetime, I can’t thank you enough!” Christopher has elected to take his grandfather Phillip Frowde as his travel companion to Antarctica and we wish them an unforgettable cruise next January.

To everyone who entered, thank you again for your time and candid responses to our questions. Your answers have already helped us tremendously in planning our 2011 tours to ensure that we provide the travel experience and service that you would like. We have also taken many of your suggestions to heart and have made adjustments to our office procedures, launched a brand new website and modified our tour portfolio.

Our very best wishes from the Rockjumper Team
