Upcoming Webinar

Join us for another engaging webinar as we explore South Africa’s legendary Kruger National Park and all that this vast reserve has to offer. We’ll also be joined by Dr Kyle Lloyd, BirdLife South Africa’s expert behind the research and conservation of the Critically Endangered White-winged Flufftail.

The Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s largest and most renowned reserves, covering an area larger than many European countries. It boats a bird list of over 500 species and is also renowned for its impressive mammal diversity which includes rare species such as African Wild Dog, Cheetah, Leopard and White Rhinoceros. Set within this extraordinary wilderness, our Kruger Challenge is a friendly birding and wildlife competition set up to raise awareness and much needed funds in support of White-winged Flufftail conservation. Rockjumper is the BirdLife Species Champion for the White-winged Flufftail, and the previous two editions of the Kruger Challenge (in 2019 and 2023) were a lot of fun, well supported, and extremely successful. Next year’s event is planned for February, which is an excellent time of the year for birding in Kruger and the competition will have 8 teams divided into competitive and non-competitive teams. Each team will be assisted by some of the region’s top birding guides (who are all volunteering their time) and a professional safari driver/guide.

Join us for this special two-part webinar focusing on the enigmatic White-winged Flufftail and the incredible Kruger National Park.
