Overview

Our extension to the incredible Iguazú Falls, the most voluminous and arguably most scenic falls in the world, offers fantastic Atlantic Rainforest birding and targets include Surucua Trogon, Blond-crested Woodpecker, Rufous-capped Motmot, Rufous Gnateater – and many more! Our itinerary also allows time to venture to higher-elevations birding sites in search of other regional specialties such as Black-fronted Piping Guan, Dusky-tailed  Antbird, Bertoni’s Antbird and Tufted Antshrike. We will also visit the Jardin de las Picaflores where a good set of spectacular hummingbirds come to the feeders. This is a highly enjoyable addition to our Brazil – Birds & Wildlife of the Pantanal & Cerrado birding tour!

I was really pleasantly surprised about every aspect of the Oman & UAE tour. Forrest Rowland did an outstanding job in every way and he has a great sense of humour. This tour exceeded my expectations. The pace was just right, accommodations and meals were of high quality, and Forrest did a great job of organizing details and making sure everything ran smoothly. He found the species that were sought and had expert knowledge of where the birds were likely to be found and when was the best time to try for them.

Adam Walleyn did a fantastic job organising the rest of the tour when Erik had to leave due to illness. I really appreciated his hard work and determination; for example: even though he had never been to Samoa before, his logistical work enabled us to get great views of some very difficult and unexpected species (Samoan Triller, Blue-grey Noddy).

Glen and Dennis did a fantastic job on this tour. Birding in the lowland rainforest looking for Pittas was certainly a challenge! Glen was informative, patient and persistent, and did his best in making sure that the entire group saw these fascinating birds. The itinerary was comprehensive, the accommodations were great and the food was excellent. Overall, a wonderful trip.

I look forward to another RBT tour...you can never go on too many RBT tours.

Dennis Yong was certainly knowledgeable on his birds and all other wildlife. I have to hand it to him, he has YEARS of experience and it shows.
