Our extension to the incredible Iguazú Falls, the most voluminous and arguably most scenic falls in the world, offers fantastic Atlantic Rainforest birding and targets the beautiful Surucua Trogon, Blond-crested Woodpecker, Rufous-capped Motmot, Rufous Gnateater – and many more! Our itinerary also allows time to venture to higher-elevations birding sites in search of other regional specialties such as Black-fronted Piping Guan, Dusky-tailed and Bertoni’s Antbirds and Tufted Antshrike. We will also visit the Jardin de las Picaflores where a good set of spectacular hummingbirds come to the feeders. This is a highly enjoyable addition to our Brazil – Birds & Wildlife of the Pantanal & Cerrado birding tour!

It was an honor and a pleasure to travel with Peter Kaestner, an uncommonly quiet but knowledgeable, dedicated, focused, transparent, kind and caring individual, with a sense of humor and a willingness to take the group's wants and needs into account when issues arose. The whole tour was a rich and rewarding experience!
This was an excellent tour and Peter did a very good job. He made the transition from birder/lister to tour guide very well. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and personable. I also liked that he allowed the tour participants to provide input and vote on any potential itinerary modifications and provided us with the information needed to make decisions. All good.
Peter is an excellent guide! He’s very friendly and did an excellent job is solving an problem that came along. PLU, He knows the birds well and would help us key in on the differences. I will go with him again! Pablo was our local guide and did a phenomenal job as well.
Bobby Wilcox is an excellent guide in every way.
Bobby Wilcox was a very capable and congenial leader. Our group consisted of birders of all levels of expertise. Bobby did his very best to make certain everyone got the opportunities they needed to have a very positive experience.
