Our Northern Extension takes us to the seldom-birded northern areas of this incredible country in search of some rare and very special species. Combined with our Rainforest & Rockfowl tour, this promises a thorough coverage of this remarkable region, including seeking out such gems as the incomparable Pennant-winged and Standard-winged Nightjars, Adamawa Turtle Dove, Brown-chested Lapwing, unusual Spotted Thrush-Babbler, Bamenda Apalis, Black-headed Gonolek, Dybowski’s Twinspot, White-throated Francolin, rare Emin’s Shrike, Oriole Warbler, and one of the world's most striking waders, the stunning Egyptian Plover!

March 2023 - After several years of intermittent security issues, Cameroon has stabilised, allowing safe and secure access to all the key birding sites.

What our clients say about us

David Hoddinott
FM - Cameroon 2024

My answers do not reflect the quality of Rockjumpers, which was superb. I just did not like the deplorable conditions of the country. It was a very rugged trip, as advertised. We did see a lot of birds, many rare and endangered. David was incredibly brilliant and helpful all the way. The country not so much. I have too many comments to list now.
