What our clients say about us

Glen Valentine
MW, Indonesia - Buru Extension II 2025

This extension provides the opportunity to observe some very rare birds. Highly recommend that keen clients on the cruise take advantage of this opportunity. Glen gets a gold medal for excellent guiding under difficult circumstances.

The tour was wonderful, even though I had some physical/health issues on the trip. The guides were great, with a special shout out to Rohman and Albert, plus the great food by Annie. Glen was excellent, very patient and persistent in getting us on the birds. The trip met my expectations for the birds, but that last glorious morning at Lore Lindu was special, with great looks at Geomalia and even a quick view of Malia.

Glen Valentine
SL - Indonesia: Sumatra & Java 2019

This [was] my second tour with Glen Valentine and he is the most professional guide I have ever traveled with. It goes without saying (but shouldn't) that he knew every single species on the tour including all their calls. He found birds when I saw nothing and then managed to get all guests onto the birds. This was impressive in itself, however there were many secretive birds that made guiding much harder. We had few problems on the tour, but I don't doubt that he would have handled it without problem. He is to be highly commended for his guiding on this very tiring trip, especially considering he was not well. Paul was also a really great training guide and I thoroughly enjoyed his company.

My thanks to Keith and Glen Valentine for taking so much time in getting me on the birds. They are so patient and really nice.

EC, Indonesia - Sulawesi & Halmahera: Wallacean Endemics (Small Group) 2026

The Sulawesi tour was outstanding in every way. Glen is an outstanding conscientious guide leader looking out for the needs of each tour participant. He worked very hard to get all of us on the key birds of the tour. The local agent Roman, (sic), was excellent at keeping all the logistics set. And he's a very goid birder in his own right. The local guides were phenomenal, particularly at locating owls at night. The food was delicious, particularly Annie's crepes. And the hotels were all as advertised. No surprises good or bad there. Birding Indonesia is challenging because bird density is low. People like Glen make the birds that are there are seen. Excellent tour.
