Our popular Namibia, Okavango & Victoria Falls overland safari is a birding and wildlife tour that visits some of the major highlights of three of Africa’s most remarkable countries, all offering vast areas of pristine wilderness. Birdlife abounds and we target an impressive array of localized as well as more widespread African species, including such sought-after specials as Slaty Egret, Wattled Crane, Ludwig’s Bustard, Rüppell’s Korhaan, Secretarybird, Pel’s Fishing Owl (one of ten possible owls!), Hartlaub’s Spurfowl, the huge Coppery-tailed Coucal, Rüppell’s Parrot, Monteiro’s Hornbill, Rockrunner, Violet Wood Hoopoe, Bare-cheeked and Black-faced Babblers, Rosy-faced Lovebird, White-tailed Shrike, Herero Chat, Dune and Gray’s Larks, Violet-eared Waxbill – and so much more besides!
What's more, spending quality time observing mammals, large and small, will be a major focus of this trip and we should see creatures ranging from Elephant-Shrews to Elephants, Fur Seals to Hippopotamus, plus an exciting range of charismatic African big game including the fabled ’Big 5’ (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant).

Thank you for a wonderful trip! Thank you, Andre Bernon, for all you did to make it so memorable!
Greg is an excellent guide with great people skills. We appreciated him very much.
Julian was a true pleasure to tour with. His calm and easygoing style were much appreciated. We love a guide with a sense of humor! His knowledge of the animals and birds and where to find them was excellent. Although we dipped on the Southern Carmine Bee-eater spectacle the first night, we still saw wonderful sights. He found the perfect place our second night on the river. The spectacle was amazing! He got all our biggest targets including Pels Fishing Owl and White-faced Owl and an African Wildcat! We had to give him two demerits as he dipped on the Honey Badger and the Pangolinsigh
I enjoyed the trip… a nice mix of birds and other animals. Greg de Klerk did a great job. I hope there will be another trip that I can travel with him.
The best part of the tour was our guide, Julian Parsons. He was extremely knowledgeable about the birds, mammals, and plants and trees. He also was very personable and inclusive, making sure everyone was able to see the wildlife. I would go on other tours he plans if they fit my schedule. So, definitely, do what is needed to keep him on your staff.
