For our Cape & Kruger birding and wildlife tour we have specifically selected the two most productive and diverse regions of South Africa: the fabulous Cape Peninsula in the south-west and the vast world famous Kruger National Park in the north-east of the country. Spending about five days in each area, we have the opportunity to explore both the Cape and Kruger by means of a variety of day trips visiting the essential highlights of each distinct region. The birding and scenery in the smallest Floristic Kingdom in the world is spectacular and the world famous Kruger National Park gives us chance to get close to the typical African wildlife such as Lion, Leopard, African Elephant, both Black and White Rhinoceroses, Plains Zebra, Giraffe and Warthog - not to mention its rich birdlife. Glen's pacing of the tour was particularly good - relaxed whenever possible and upping the pace when necessary. His responsiveness and attention to client requests was admirable, as was his general demeanor throughout. Nice to spend such a long trip with someone so enthusiastic and sociable.
Heinz was incredible. His knowledge and personality were wonderful. What a wonderful young man! We had an incredible time.
Gregory was an excellent tour leader and bird guide. I would happily travel with him again.
Greg and Wade were both amazing in their depth of knowledge of all things South African! They made sure we all got on the birds and described in detail what we should be looking for. Accommodations were lovely (Kruger a little less so, but ok). The Safari was the highlight of the trip. All in all I’d definitely recommend this tour.
I would like to add my thanks to you, Crystal, and all the other people associated with Rockjumper for making this the best birding tour in which I have participated. David's leadership was superb as our trip bird count shows. I would be happy to go with Rockjumper on future trips. Thanks again for your assistance during the Mega South Africa trip.
