Rwanda is a fascinating add-on to our Kenya & Tanzania – Birds & Big Game tour. We will thoroughly explore this tiny nation - tracking the Virunga race of Mountain Gorilla and seeking out a plethora of Albertine Rift endemics in the vast, beautiful Nyungwe Forest are just a few of the many highlights. In particular, the Albertine Rift endemics are extremely special and include the beautiful Rwenzori Turaco, Red-collared Babbler, Kungwe Apalis, Rwenzori Double-collared Sunbird, Red-throated Alethe, Purple-breasted, and Regal Sunbird, Handsome Francolin, Grauer's, Neumann's and Grauer's Swamp Warbler, Dwarf Honeyguide and even chances for the rare Albertine Owlet and Shelley’s Crimsonwing.

A fantastic adventure: wonderful birds and amazing mammals including: tree-climbing lions; leopards on kopjes, up trees and on the ground; the wildebeest migration; a lounging cheetah; bat-eared foxes in the daytime; and up close and personal with gorillas. Wayne Jones is a fabulous guide.
